Age Verification Policy

Customers must confirm they are 18 years or older before entering the website and at checkout before purchase. It is illegal to falsely declare that you are aged 18 or over if you are not.

Recipients who appear to be under the age of 25 will need to verify their age with a valid form of ID. If age cannot be verified, we will arrange a redelivery for a time when it can be.

We reserve the right to ask for ID from any customer who appears to be under the age of 25.

We can only legally accept the following forms of ID:

New Zealand Driver Licence
Passport
Kiwi Access Card
Hospitality New Zealand 18+ Card

Refunds, minus delivery costs, will be processed for any orders where the recipient or purchaser is found to be under the age of 18.

Please note that our alcohol license only allows us to deliver purchases to you. We are not able to offer in store pickup or click and collect.

EL VIAJERO is the only store in the Bay of Plenty specialising in imported Latin American alcoholic beverages. We offer courier shipping throughout New Zealand, as well as Local Delivery to Papamoa, Mount Maunganui, Tauranga and Te Puke.
